FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is high-end custom furniture?
The best way to define what a high-end custom-made piece of furniture is is to separately define what custom-made and high-end mean.
Custom-made furniture
Created especially for you, it takes into account your aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and the constraints of your space. This type of furniture designed by a cabinetmaker is truly unique, which means you will never find the same one at your neighbor’s.
High-end furniture
Created from high-quality materials, both in terms of its raw materials, this piece of furniture possesses an inherent value superior to that of disposable furniture and also has a propensity to age better. Indeed, premium furniture withstands the test of time more effectively and retains its value more effectively.
At ADN Design, we create unique projects using only materials imported from Europe. This is what allows us to say that we offer superior quality custom furniture.
Why choose a high-end custom-made piece of furniture made by ADN Design?
Each of our customers has their own reasons for choosing a high-quality custom-made piece of furniture. That being said, here are the three main reasons:
The aesthetic
Our clients are looking for a striking piece of furniture. They want to acquire something truly unique, a piece of furniture that they will appreciate visually and that their guests will undoubtedly notice.
The functional
Our clients are looking for furniture that meets specific needs. For example, they want a custom-made desk that can conceal a large printer, or they want a walk-in closet that can accommodate hundreds of pairs of shoes. Regardless of space constraints and functional requirements, we find solutions.
The sustainable
Our clients are looking for furniture that will stand the test of time. They want to invest in something that will retain its value and remain in style for several years. Many of our clients view custom furniture as an investment because it allows them to avoid replacing their furniture repeatedly over the years.

What are the steps of a custom project?
Step 1 – Ideation
Each project begins with an exploratory meeting where our designer visits your space, clarifies your vision, and gets to know you. Following this meeting, they are able to bring your project to life in the form of a 3D model. They ensure to adhere to your tastes, functional needs, and the budget framework that you have defined together. The model remains editable until you are 100% satisfied.
Step 2 – Manufacturing
After the final approval of the mock-up, the order is sent to our European manufacturer. They create each piece while strictly adhering to our plan down to the millimeter. Then, they ship the completed order to our showroom in Montreal.
Step 3 – Installation
The equipment has been received, and our team is on the move to proceed with the installation. Since each piece has already been crafted with precision down to the millimeter, the installation proceeds quickly and cleanly. Once the project is completed, we finish the experience by offering you some trendy ideas to help you decorate your new furniture.
